EVANTE

This kit car is called an Evante. The engine size is 1700cc it is based on the Ford cross flow engine, boasts 173bhp as standard and runs twin carburetors, which is the reason the customer brought

the car to Top Boss Performance.

He had originally taken the car to a garage to diagnose a rough running fault and was told by said garage he was looking at an engine rebuild at a cost of £2,500!! He then came across www.toppbossperformance.co.uk and gave us a call!

Carburetors being one of our specialties, we told him to bring the car down to have a look. On inspection we found that the carbs had never been properly set up and set about putting them right.

It took about an hour and the customer has been a regular visitor and friend ever since.
